Welcome to my homepage! I am a faculty member in the Discipline of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Gandhinagar. I teach a variety of courses in the domain of thermofluid sciences such as Fluid Mechanics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Combustion, and CFD. My students and I work together to characterize energetic materials for propulsion and energy-conversion applications. We work on developing a diverse set of models, ranging from atomistic/molecular scales (to obtain fundamental properties and microscopic picture) to macro-scales (to study macroscopic processes such as heat transfer and combustion). We rely on state-of-the-art computational facilities available in the institute to conduct the simulations. Please do explore my website and feel free to contact me should you have any questions.
