Welcome to my homepage! I am a faculty member in the Discipline of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Gandhinagar. I teach a variety of courses in the domain of thermofluid sciences such as Fluid Mechanics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Aircraft and Rocket Propulsion, Combustion, and CFD. My students and I work together to characterize energetic materials for propulsion and energy-conversion applications. We work on developing a diverse set of models, ranging from atomistic/molecular scales (to predict fundamental thermodynamic and transport properties) to macro-scales (to study macroscopic processes such as heat transfer, combustion/propulsion) as well as experimental characterization of combustion and propulsive performances. Please do explore my website and feel free to contact me should you have any questions.

Update:
We have multiple openings for PhD students and we are looking for bright and motivated students to join our group. Please do write to me in case you have any questions.
